Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012: Day 8

Hi there! I'm about to go outside and play (which is why I have my warm duffel coat on and mittens for my hooves), but before I do I wanted to open today's door on my Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar. If you have one at home, feel free to play along. If you don't have one...JEALOUS?

Door number eight can be found located directly beneath the picture of the gift-ribboned Death Star. "Happy Life Day, Princess Leia! Hope you survive the experience!"

It's the freeze-dried, vacuum-packed remains of a Rebel Pilot! Quite possibly Wedge Antilles, maybe Gavin Darklighter. One thing we can be sure of: this is not Porkins, as Lego has stated they would go bankrupt creating such an oversized minifig. I ask Lego to please reconsider this and give us the pleasantly plump Rebel hero the others kindly called "Piggy." Also if you can, Lego: he should smell liek bacon.

Whoever he is, he doesn't look much healthier out of the bag.

There we go! Put him together and he's a Rebel Pilot in...heh heh heh...good standing! Hah! I slay me! See ya tomorrow, Legomaniacs!

Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012: Day 7

Hey, it's day lucky number seven in Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012! This feature has been so successful, I may have it go on for several months past Christmas! That is, if John buys me some more Lego Star Wars Advent Calendars. He just says "put them on your wish list, Bully!" THAT'S NOT THE SAME AS GETTING THEM.

What's this? (in my William Dozier voice) A grey group of goofy gadgets to go? Stay tuned...the Lego is yet to come!

It's Chewbacca's barrel full o' fun! Well, actually, his barrel full o' tools, like his wrench and his hammer as well as a handy place to hang his trademark weapon, his bowcaster, when he isn't using it to shoot Stormtroopers. In the face.

His barrel keeps Chewbacca amused all day. Me too! I shall stay here and watch them until noon tomorrow, when we continue on our galactic journey to open every door of the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar!

A Hanna-Barbera Christmas, Day 7: I promise you this is the final appearance of Scrappy-Doo in this feature

Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012: Day 6

Hi hi hi! And welcome back to Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012, voted the Internet's third most-popular Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown by a stuffed animal blogger! (shaking my hoof angrily at Giraffo)

Door number six attempted to elude me, but my black button eyes spied it finally.

Yippee! It's a plastic bag filled with Wookiee parts! (No added cereals or fillers!)

This guy looks oddly familiar...

Hey, it's our old pal, Chewbacca! After losing a fight with a ninja, apparently.

It's always great fun to hang out with a Wookiee! Just remember when you're playing Monopoly or Clue or Gnip Gnop...let the Wookiee win.

A Hanna-Barbera Christmas, Day 6: Ranger Smith starved the bears so much that winter they turned to vegetarianism

Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012: Day 5

I have used the power of the force (and also my knowledge of math) to home in on door number five of my Lego Stars Wars Advent Calendar! Let's us open it! And by us, I mean me.

AW-RIGHT! It is Boba Fett's v. cool ship, Slave I! And by cool, I mean cooler than him, because, as you know, Boba Fett went out like a chump. I just like to remind y'all of that every now and then.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! In addition to being able to make Slave I, this Lego set has two of my favorite pieces in it. Can you guess why? Gain points if you guess! And we all know what points mean, right?*

That's because I can make it into a lovely heart! i just made this Lego to say "I love you!" Also, I love Star Wars.

But now if the time on Bully's blog when we dance make a space ship! Let's see...like all space ships, it has a base that looks like a remote control...

There ya go! Slave I in all its glory, as seen in The Empire Strikes Back! Also, two extra pieces, which, I guess, could be the space garbage that Fett floats away in. Or maybe they are the severed heads of Jango and Boba Fett, side by side! Take yer pick.

Slave I, won't you?

Bully's Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar Countdown 2012: Day 4

Help me open my fourth door on my Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar, will ya? Thankytuhverramuch, as my pal E. would say.

Wow, according to the instructions, today I get FOUR TIMES the excitement of the other days! Perhaps this will be the Star Wars Lego that will walk across my floor and enslave the others! Including the Harry Potter Lego set, the Indian Jones Lego set, and that guy from the minifig collection who's dressed up like a bunny.

Ohhhhh...kay. Today I got a pile of bleached bones! Maybe I'm creating the human remains of Chewbacca after his sad and untimely death in the Expanded Universe. Whoops, I shoulda put a SPOILER WARNING up there, huh? Sorry 'bout that!

A pattern begins to emerge! I have created a quartet of lightsabers for The Fantastic Four! Except Ben don't need no lightsaber. He just needs to clobber!

No! Actually, this is a OG-9 Homing Spider Droid! Please join me all in singing his theme song: Spider-Droid, Spider-Droid / Doesn't do what he can avoid / Is he tough? Listen pal / He can compute even faster than HAL! / He is the Spider-Droid!
